Deserving of permission to sin??
If I had any influence to give some good helpful advice to the generation of young people, or any people living today, especially those in the teen years, would be to discover a way to get your mind-set off of the flesh.
The power of the flesh and the world have a way of captivating the heart that is not walking in the Spirit of God, and not fighting to wage the war against the flesh. I have observed some through the years that seem to feel that the world in some way owes them a favor. FOR WHAT??
What great act of kindness apart from the grace of God have you performed that makes you feel that anyone owes you anything? If you have had great accomplishments, the glory should go to God, Who has given you the heart to do something great .
I believe one of the most disgusting deceptions is the impression some people have that they are covered by the grace of God to live however they please, and even feel deserving of some preferential unnatural perverse pleasures, just because they feel they deserve to be loved according to the standards of this world, but still walk through their lives rejecting the real love of God, and the message of the cross.
God's word teaches us that His grace is not to be used as an excuse to continue in sin, but rather that we would see the grace of God as strength to help us to be free from sin. Whoever remains in sin becomes a slave of sin, and will never experience satisfaction from sinful pleasures no matter how hard they try. Sinful bondage will only leave you void of purpose, and powerless to experience freedom. God alone has the power to set you free some the bondage of sin and deception. Look to the cross, where Jesus paid the price for your freedom. Freedom is having the ability to walk free from sin through the power of Christ in you,
the hope of Glory. The mind-set on the flesh is death, but the mind-set on the Spirit is life and peace.
