Walking with God  involves daily participation, and not passive reliance.
Their are currents in this world that are swiftly flowing. Some with strong influences that desire to draw you into their rift.
As Spirit filled Christians we have the awesome opportunity to draw from the grace of God daily,
 to avoid the pull of this worlds currents of ungodliness, and to experience the joy of having the power to overcome
 sins temptation and to walk free from the bondages of sins deluding currents. Worshiping God from your heart,
and being greatful are a few great ways to access the current of grace and favor the comes from the Throne of God,
 as a result of obedience from the heart towards Him. That is where you attain strength to overcome the powerful currents
 of the flesh and the world that are unwavering in their attempt to capture your heart with the purpose of keeping
your mind and heart from listening to the voice of the Lord. This is why you must walk daily with Him and be filled with His Spirit.
That form of obedience draws from God's grace to enable continued freedom from sins destructuve currents.
Colossians 1:21-23 describes a life before and after Salvation and offers a warning in verse 23 about letting your heart drift away from the assurance you received when you responded to the Gospel. Open up your Bible and seek His truth.
Their is a drifting away that can occur in your ife, but it doesn't have to happen when you keep your heart and mind free from sin and learn how to push against the currents of the flesh and the world.
The stronger you push, the greater the grace to resist.
