Which "Peace" are you seeking?

     Do you have the peace that God has promised by His word through faith in Jesus Christ, or are you seeking to acquire the peace that the world has to offer. According to Jesus words in John 14:27, their are two kinds of peace;
First... the peace that He offers through faith in the name of Jesus, which is an everlasting peace, or, Secondly..  the peace the world has to offer , which is a false peace with no lasting value.

Romans 5:1 Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand: and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
God's peace through faith in Jesus activates God's grace to give us a place to stand in life.
Contrary to this worlds offer of peace that keeps you seeking "things" through its self-deceiving pleasures that will never result in lasting peace, but rather a certain instability to really discern how to attain the real true peace your heart is longing for.
Some years before I was saved, I spent a lot of time pondering why I was so empty inside, and why I could not seem to ever attain the peace my heart was obviously longing for.
When I met the Lord Jesus Christ, and became born-again, the peace that I had longed for became mine.  Somehow, most probably because I was spiritually blinded by my repeated rejection of the Gospel of truth, I had not realized the connection between my reponse to God and the peace I was longing for.
Open your heart to the truth of God's word today. Your response to God will take you to the
 proper place in life and will give you a right standing with Him. You have cetainly had enough invitations, now it is your time to accept His offer of peace with Him.
