Most of us know what it is like for a virus to get ahold of our lives and how we become infected by it.
In the same manner, this world carries a virus that gets a hold of peoples hearts, and they become infected by the webs of sin.
Their is a cure for these types of sicknesses. His name is Jesus. He is the Risen Lord and has words of life that are waiting for you to discover.  Jesus IS the word of life. If you feel that you don't have real joy in your life, you are a great opportunity waiting to happen,
if you are willing to become affected by the life changing word of God that will soon begin to set you free from the viruses of sin that the world has placed upon your life, with your permisssion of course. They didn't get their by your resistance... did they??
Of course not. Now it is your responsibility to make a decision to allow the power of God to begin the process of elimination of your self -inflicted sins of the flesh.
I recently read a story about a young boy who noticed a large black book all covered with dust lying on a high shelf. His curiosity was aroused, so he asked his mother about it. Embarrassed she hastily explained, “That’s a Bible. It’s God’s book. The boy replied, “ Well if it’s God’s book, then why don’t we give it back to Him? Nobody around here uses it any way.” 
Begin to pick up the Bible and read it with faith. God will supernaturally lead you out of your deception, when you yield to His wisdom.
I believe that God's word is the ultimate answer to affect the deliverance you need. When you realize the power that is available to you, you should be willing to say yes to the plan of Salvation for your life.
What is the plan? 
Read the words of Jesus in the Gosples, asking Him to speak to you with faith, and He will give you the  answers
you are seeking when your motive is to hear His voice and do His will.
The infections of sin will not release you by doing nothing about them.
The affects of life giving words will provide the cure your heart needs.
That is where the sickness began, that is where the healing will begin.
