God Is Still Looking At You
Why do you suppose God is looking at you?
Perhaps He is waiting for your response to His heart of love that has been drawing you to consider
His calling on your life. What else is their in this world to live for that has more fulfillment than the joy
that He places in your heart when you respond to His love, and follow the call to discipleship?
We all have had relative departures from the standards of life that we know He has been establishing in our hearts.
We all do what we love on a daily basis, but does it correspond wit the eternal purpose He has called us to, and is our activities producing fruit for the establishing of God's Kingdom on the earth?
If you are not experiencing freedom from the forces of the darkness of this world, you may have to re-focus your intention on what ,or perhaps.. who, you really are responding to. Their are plenty of influences competing for your attention, on radio, tv, i-net ,etc.,
that have the power to pull your heart in to their delusions.
How often do we make the effort to open up the word of God and allow the very voice of God to influence our daily lives and to capture our attention to build a passion to do His will in the earth whiile we are here?
Picture yourself as a tree planted by streams of water, with a choice to draw from the water to grow, or just stand there and become wilted and unproductive. When your roots become shallow, you will bend when the winds of adversity come your way, eventually giving in to the eminent fall. This is not the design God would have you to follow. You have a choice to make to grow strong in the Lord through His word to affect change in those around you, so that God can shine through you to demonstrate His power, and in return will sustain you to walk in the freedom He has accomplished for you, through the cross, to walk in.
Here is a very easy to understand passage of scripture that if followed has a powerful applicaiton to the one who will obey.
Titus 2:11-15
"For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures .We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ will be revealed. He gave His life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us , and to make us His very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. You must teach these things and encourage believers to do them. You have the authority to correct them when neccesary, so don't let anyone disregard what you say."
When you seriously display an active response of love and obedience to the Lord, He will respond with favor on your life.
Begin looking to the Lord, for He is looking at you for the opportunity to show Himself strong on your behalf.
